PAWLEY’S ISLAND, S.C. (Feb. 15, 2021) – BenchMark Physical Therapy opened an outpatient clinic today at 9140 Ocean Highway, Suite 5.
The clinic offers outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, including manual therapy, injury prevention, return to performance, total joint replacement, concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation programs.
Appointments are available from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. The clinic can be reached at 843-314-0178.
Clinic director Rusty Whitten earned a doctor of physical therapy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis.
His clinical interests include headaches, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, TMJ dysfunction and shoulder pathologies. He has clinical experience with collegiate and professional athletes.
Whitten is a certified functional examiner (CFE), is certified in dry needling, and is a Titleist Performance Institute certified medical provider.
